Focus on: 'Bering' from Enzo Bonafé

In this blog post we have chosen to highlight a rather special model that we have recently taken in; 'Bering' in Bourbon Grain Cordovan by Enzo Bonafé.

This combination of Cordovan Grain leather in the warm brown tone known as 'Bourbon' is seldom seen as a store model. So we were very happy when we got the chance to make a small series together with the Bonafé factory.

We decided that in order to do the leather justice, we must celebrate by making a shoe that displays the Bonafé family's expertise and signature style.

We went for a round toed Derby with a construction known as 'Norvegese'. This involves an extra stitch to the outsole which assists in holding together the upper, midsole and outsole.

Other aesthetic details include: flat waxed laces, natural edge colouring contrast stitching and a 10mm outsole thickness.
